Resumen:
Research conducted at LEESU (Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées / IPP) on inland waters aims to improve understanding the processes involved in the thermal regime and their impact on the biogeochemical cycles. To this end, a process-based modelling approach is combined with long-term observations using high-frequency sensors.
On lake ecosystems, the monitoring systems deployed at 2 urban lakes and the thermal-hydrodynamic modelling will be presented and on urban rivers, a warning system for a bathing site and the assessment of the microbiological water quality based on high-frequency data.
