Real perturbations of complex polynomials.

The authors consider the complex dynamics of generic C r perturbations of the complex polynomials. They prove that, let P be a polynomial, there exists a C ′ neighborhood U of P such that for every f ∈ U, either some critical point has unbounded orbit or the set of points with bounded orbit is connected and simply connected.
